This youth-sized mask uses a head-based strap in order to relieve the pressure on the ears felt with long-term use of ear-loop masks. The outside material is an extremely tight interlock knit which at 185 GSM (grams per square meter) exceeds the CDC standard. The inside material is a luxury woven cotton/spandex blend, enzyme washed for a superior hand, and at 120 GSM also exceeds the CDC standard. The handcrafted three-pleat construction with 1⁄4” soft-braid elastic straps makes the Vulcan Sports Mask durable, reusable, and washable. Garment care and cleaning is just like sports bras and leggings. Safe for laundry detergents, washer-and-dryer or hand wash with a mild cleanser and warm water and drip-dry.

This is my favorite mask I have ever worn because it's easy to wash and is soft and comfortable. It's also easy to fold up and put in my pocket so I have it with me when I need it. Comfort is important to me - I don't want to be constantly touching and re-adjusting the mask; that defeats the purpose. It fits snugly, just like the CDC recommends.
